Kansas City

Last weekend Grace, Mom and I went to Kansas City. We had a big agenda-a portrait sitting with Granny, Mom, Stefanie, Grace and me, my friend Rachel's baby shower, my sister Stefanie's birthday and of course, shopping.

The trip out there was hellish. Our flight out of Portland was cancelled. After trying for almost two hours to book another flight out of Portland, we took the bus down to Boston. We stayed overnight in a hotel and finally caught a plane to KC the next morning. Grace was a SAINT the entire time. She didn't complain, didn't whine, didn't seem to mind being schlepped from place to place.

We had a great time in Kansas City (once we got there!) The baby shower was lovely and it was fun to catch up with my friends Rachel and Tricia. We had a great time at a hibachi restaurant celebrating Stefanie's birthday. Grace was enthralled by the cooking.
