It's been a LONG wait . . .

The year is 1976. A young boy watches the NFL expansion eagerly and decides to pick one of the two new teams entering the League as his own. His chooses the Seattle Seahawks over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He doesn't yet know that this decision will condemn him to decades of anguish and despair and will cause him to wonder if he is cursed. Lek has two other teams he roots for-the Philadelphia 76'ers (who last won a championship in 1983) and the Chicago Cubs (who last won a championship in 1908). It has been quite a sports drought.

But last night, things FINALLY went his way. The Seahawks won 2 playoff games (they hadn't won a play off game since 1984), and are headed to the Super Bowl in Detroit on February 5th.
