Firsts

Abera has had so many firsts since he came home a little over 2 months ago. Grace is always asking me "Has Abera ever seen_______?" Usually my answer is no, because of his age and because he had a pretty sheltered life prior to coming here.







Here is a partial lists of firsts:

• airplane ride
• riding in a car seat
• taking a bath in the big bath tub
• eating ice cream
• overnighting in Boston
• drinking out of a sippy cup
• eating Lucky Charms (though I ate the marshmallows)
• swimming in a pool
• eating a tamale (which he LOVED)
• going to music class
• swinging in a swing
• watching television, thank God he loves Baby Einstein

He is always on the go. Every day feels like an adventure and he is so delighted to discover new things. He still hasn't seen snow yet-that's one thing I can wait to show him.
